GENERATIONAL AWARD

Established in 2005, the Generational Award recognizes local businesses that have made significant contributions to the growth and development of Hawaii’s business and community sectors over two or more generations of ownership.  Award recipients and their families are honored at the Chamber’s Inauguration & Generational Award Celebration in July.

 2019 Generational Award Honoree

Servco Pacific Inc.
Celebrating 100 years

Servco Pacific Inc. was founded in 1919 by Peter Fukunaga when he purchased Henry Voss’ Haleiwa Garage with a down payment of $25. Throughout the years, Servco had diversified in areas to serve the needs of Hawai’i, such as finance, insurance, and general retail, but has always been known for its automotive business. This year, Servco celebrates its 100th anniversary. Today, it’s the largest 17th Largest Dealership Group based in the US, the largest Toyota Dealer Group in Australia, and one of Hawaii Best Places to Work. Looking to invest in future generations, Servco is pioneering new mobility options like car sharing with Hui Car Share, and alternative fuel vehicles like the Toyota Mirai.
